What is the seating situation?
The intimate Mayfair Theatre has 658 seats. There is not a bad seat in the house at this live music venue.
Where is the Mayfair Theatre?
The Mayfair Theatre is inside the Irish American Heritage Center located at 4626 N Knox Ave, Chicago, IL 60630.
Where can I park?
There are two parking lots adjacent to the Irish American Heritage Center with space for up to 300 cars. Parking is always free!
How do I buy tickets to Mayfair Theatre events?
You can purchase tickets online at EventBrite.com and the Irish American Heritage Center during business hours. We will post show announcements on our socials (@TBD).
How can I get there other than driving?
CTA Train – The blue line to the Montrose stop and about a 5-minute walk to the Mayfair.
CTA Bus – Bus number 81 (the Lawrence bus). Get off at Lawrence & Kenton and then a 5-minute walk to the Mayfair.
Metra - the nearest Metra stop is Jefferson Park, about a 30-minute walk to the Mayfair.
What items are permitted at the shows?
Bags smaller than 12” x 12” x 6”
Cameras - Non-professional only, no detachable or zoom lenses
Empty plastic bottle (Refillable inside the venue)
Will there be a bag check?
Yes, most of our shows will have a bag check.
Are animals allowed at your shows?
Service dogs are permitted.
Is re-entry allowed?
With a ticket only.
Do you have handicapped seating available?
All main floor aisle seating is handicap accessible.
Do you make accommodations for deaf attendees?
We are happy to coordinate an ASL interpreter for any show. To request one, please reach out to us at info@irishahc.org.
Are food and drinks available for purchase?
Food and beverages are available for purchase from our Fifth Province Pub.
What is your Covid policy?
The Mayfair Theatre complies with all municipal Covid 19 mitigations. Additional requirements are up to the artists playing in the Theatre.
Do you have a mailing list for upcoming shows?

Can I rent the Mayfair Theatre for my own event?
Yes. E-mail roomrentals@irishahc.org for information on renting the Mayfair Theatre for your concert or event.
What items are prohibited?
Bags and backpacks larger than a 12” x 12” x 6”
Weapons (knives, guns, chains, pepper spray, sharp objects, or any item that can be construed as a weapon)
Outside food or beverage
Glass or metal containers of any kind
Chairs
Coolers
Video or audio recording devices
Cameras with an external flash or detachable lens
Illegal substances/drugs of any kind
Fireworks or any other incendiary device
Laptops and tablets
Flyers and stickers
Umbrellas
Sticks, poles, selfie sticks, tripods, or Go Pros
Oversized signs (larger than 8.5”’ x 11”) or signs on sticks are prohibited. All signs are subject to venue approval and must not obstruct the view of other guests
